Royal Caribbean serves up action and adventure on cruise holidays, with enthralling itineraries covering all manner of sought-after destinations.
Ever since the foundation of the original Royal Caribbean cruise line brand in the 1960s, it has been a name known for innovation. Royal Caribbean has long been restless in reshaping and redefining what cruises can be, helping to popularise such industry ‘firsts’ as rock climbing and ice skating.
Today’s Royal Caribbean remains at the leading edge, offering on-board activities to fire the imaginations of particularly adventurous holidaymakers. However, such pioneering verve has also always been built on the strong foundations of professional, friendly, and responsive service.
Royal Caribbean’s cruise ships remain breathtaking marvels of design and engineering, which transport their guests in comfort and style to almost every top-rated global destination you could name. No one does cruises quite like Royal Caribbean, so expect an unforgettable experience combining the best in entertainment, dining, and travel – and a few delightful surprises.
Guests can check in using the Royal Caribbean website, up to 48 hours prior to sailing. Guests are required to complete check-in using the app or at the terminal. Guests need to be checked in no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled sailing time.
Guests will be expected to arrive at the port terminal within the arrival time slot that they selected during check-in using the Royal App.
Royal Caribbean offers two options for those wishing to browse the Internet on board the ship. They are VOOM Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi), for which only a Wi-Fi-capable wireless device is required, and ‘iCafe’ wired Internet stations. There are varying prices for Internet access.
Guests are allowed to smoke indoors in the Casino, the cigar clubs on Freedom and Voyager Class ships, and in one designated smoking venue on ships sailing from Chinese homeports. There are also designated outdoor areas on Royal Caribbean cruise ships where cigarette, cigar, e-cigarette and pipe smoking is permitted.
Guests are not permitted to bring beer or hard liquor on board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, to consume or for any other use. However, on boarding day, guests are allowed to bring on board two 750ml bottles of personal wine or Champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage.
